Hi,

I am currently working in IT industry and want to pursue my career as a Business Analyst in Finance going forward.

Hence for the very same reason can someone please recommend a part-time course to give a heads up in the Finance industry.

Cheers! DJ

A post-graduate masters course in either Business Administration or Finance would be ideal, however overkill if you only want to stay on the BA side of things.

Finance is a big area so if you know what area you want to work in it could help you narrow down on what courses to take. Here is an ad for a typical BA position in Finance outlining what skills they are looking which you may wish to use as an indication of what course you want to choose.

There's a great site called hotcourses.com.au that helps you search for specific courses across a range of unis which might be helpful too.

Useful links:

Hope this helps.

Thanks Vaughan.

Basically I am looking for a career as a BA in Foreign Exchange (FX) and related markets.

If you could advise some entry level courses that would be really helpful,

I'm assuming you are a post graduate - check out the post-graduate finance courses as UNSW Australian School of Business here: http://www.asb.unsw.edu.au/futurestudents/postgraduate/Pages/programdetails.aspx?AspXPage=g_8EE89775EAB748BB9F2EB5FA10DD0C80:Program%255Ftitle%3DFinance

See this page for a list of useful courses too: http://www.hotcourses.com.au/australia/part-time-cn-postgraduate-courses-australia/pg-aus-pt/dl-cc/order-cd-1/foreign+exchange/sf/courses.html

Hi Vaughan,

I have a Diploma in IT from Overseas with over 8 years of work experience. Based on the above can you suggest some entry level course.

Thanks.
