Yes there are scholarships for CFA candidates. Normally there are offers for substantial fee reduction (I think $770 or thereabouts) or full waives for 5 students per professor or a maximum of 10 students per university for part I of the exams. I'm not sure about how exactly candidates are chosen for UNSW but you generally have to be doing exceptionally well academically and the scholarships are usually given by nomination by professors with CFA membership so they probably will be able to provide better information. Some unis elect the 5 students with the highest average weighted mark for first four core Masters of Financial Analysis courses for scholarship. |
